Kani Empanada


5 pieces “Hippo” Original Recipe Frozen Dough | 100 g of Crab Stick | 200 g diced chicken | 1/4 cup diced onion | 1/4 cup diced carrot | 1/2 cup diced potato | 1/4 cup green pea | 1/4 cup raisin | 2 tablespoons soy sauce | 3 tablespoons turkey gravy | 1 teaspoon sugar | 1/4 cup white wine | 2 tablespoons plain flour (mixture water) | 2 tablespoons salted butter | 1 egg yolk | Regular butter | Water


1. Melt regular butter in a pan, and then add the onion, carrot, potato and little water. Cooked until the vegetable is soften, about 5 minutes.
2. Reduce the heat to medium, add chicken and cook for 5 minutes. Add soy sauce, turkey gravy, sugar and raisin, and then cook until the potato is soften, about 30 minutes.
3. Add green peas and Crab Stick, cook with high heat for 1 minute. Put-in the mixture of plain flour and water, add white wine and stir together.
4. Place Crab Stick filling and fold with “Hippo” Original Recipe Frozen Dough in half. Place Chicken Empanada on a baking tray, brushed with butter and egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven 180 Celsius, for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
